Running, chasing

It's always something

Whether it was getting out of Broward

Whether it was getting out of Atlantis

Getting into college

Getting to this music

Connecting with my dead

Trying to inspire my youngins

Make a mannequin out of me

It's always something

But truly, it’s nothing

I do more and more, and remain empty

The pursuit of knowledge, power, money, fame, self-fulfillment, some sense of satisfaction, simply to be satiated-

I am a husk, my hunger is unsatiable

However, my resolve is ever unbreakable

I don’t think I'll ever find what I’m chasing, and that’s okay
